This policy explains the limited information The Ultimate Referral receives when you visit the site or contact us.

Information you provide

The contact form asks for your name, email address, topic, and message. We use that information to read and respond to your inquiry. Do not include passwords, payment information, account numbers, government identifiers, or other sensitive account data.

Operational information

Our hosting provider may process standard technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as request time, browser information, and network address. External referral providers may collect information after you leave this site under their own privacy policies.

Website analytics

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Its default implementation collects information such as user and session counts, approximate location, browser and device information, and interactions with pages. We also record category selections, clicks to referral guides and external referral links, QR-code views, and successful contact-form submissions. These event labels do not include the name, email address, or message entered in the contact form. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies, including a _ga cookie containing a randomly generated client identifier, to distinguish users and sessions. Ahrefs Web Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand page views, referral sources, browser and device information, approximate city-level location, language, screen size, outbound-link clicks, and form-submission events. Referral links

Referral URLs can contain identifiers that tell a provider which customer shared the invitation. Clicking one sends you to that provider. Review the provider's privacy notice before creating an account or submitting personal information.

Retention and sharing

Contact messages are kept only as reasonably needed to respond, maintain correspondence, and address abuse or legal obligations. We do not sell contact-form information. We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect the site and its users.
